MEET GINA
Gina Mitten is a dedicated public servant who grew up in University City. After living in Los Angeles for several years, she returned to St. Louis and juggled work, single parenting, and education.
Her passion for her community led her to serve on the Richmond Heights City Council, and then she represented us for eight years in the Missouri House. As a Democratic leader in the House, Gina championed ethics, environmental protection, education, and government accountability.
Gina has remained deeply involved in advocating for her community and for reproductive rights - and is now running to serve as our next State Senator for Senate District 4.

WORKERS’ RIGHTS
Working families are hurting and need our elected leaders to step up.
Gina is a lifelong advocate for paid leave, child care assistance, living wages, jobs with dignity and good benefits, and protecting workers’ right to organize and collectively bargain.
In the State Senate, Gina will fight against anti-worker legislation and work to restore fairness and equal opportunity for all Missourians.
PUBLIC SAFETY AND CRIME
Every single person deserves safety and security.
As State Senator, Gina will work to fund first responders, foster meaningful partnerships between communities and police, and push for smart, common sense gun safety like universal background checks and red flag laws to keep all Missourians safe.
SAVE PUBLIC EDUCATION
High quality public education should be guaranteed to every child in Missouri.
Republicans in Jefferson City have launched attack after attack to weaken public education.
Enough is enough. Gina will defend our teachers, fight for real investment and robust funding for public education, and make Missouri schools the best in the nation.

Missourians spoke loud and clear: we demand abortion rights and reproductive freedom.
Gina is 100% pro-choice and has always fought for reproductive freedom and to keep politicians out of our private healthcare choices - including abortion.
Gina is running against a conservative Democrat who voted for a total abortion ban with no exceptions.
